Kim and Ellory started as a husband and wife Chef team. Surprisingly enough, they actually work quite well together! Their backgrounds were so diverse, that each of them brought something different to the table....if you'll pardon the pun!

Our Quality Pledge: Kim & Ellory's Kitchen promises to avoid all Monsanto GMO modified foods. We shop specifically for each and every event. To assure freshness, we don't carry food over from one event to another. We also shop local whenever possible. We like to know where the food we use comes from, and who produces it. A quality buffet, starts with quality food.

 Our History: Chefs Kim Arteaga-Bisk and Ellory Bisk joined forces to create their own Chef & Catering service in 2006. They brought over 40 years of combined experience in the food service and hospitality industries.

Our Goal: To provide our clients with an exceptional dining experience, whether at home or an off-site venue. Menus are custom designed for each client, using only the freshest of ingredients. We promise to serve the highest quality product, at affordable prices.

Along with our delicious food, is our strong commitment to provide our clients with prompt, courteous and professional service.

Whether it's a private or corporate breakfast or lunch, formal dinner, company party, wedding or special event, craft services for a movie or photo location, etc., Kim & Ellory's Kitchen is dedicated to helping you choose the menu that will cater to your needs.

 Kim Bisk (Owner/Executive Chef)

  Kim received her Certified Chef degree from the Florida Culinary Institute, and has been a member of the American Culinary Federation since 2001. Her cooking expertise ranges from South and North American cuisine to Italian, French, Spanish, and Asian, just to name a few.

 Kim is the Chicago Ambassador for Book of Cooks, as well as a featured Chef at The Great American Cooking Expo. Born in Venezuela; she has also lived in the Caribbean, Rome Italy (for 15 years), as well as here in the US.

 Chef Kim has been the official Chef for Leinenkugel's beer "Join Us Out Here" Tour, broadcast on 95.1fm, since 2009. She has made numerous other appearances doing cooking demos, and giving classes. She currently writes recipes and articles for numerous magazines and websites. Kim is ServSafe certified.

Ellory Bisk (Founding Member)

Ellory (pronounced like celery, without the "c") was the original person you would have talked to when getting pricing or working out the details of your event.

 Raised in the Chicago area, Ellory worked for some of the top restaurant corporations in the US since 1979, and had filled every restaurant position, both front and back of the house.

 Ellory took care of all the bookings, promotion, advertising and client relations...when not working along side Chef Kim in the kitchen. His culinary specialties included Grill work, Appetizers, Desserts...and anything deep fried!

Henriette Hoyos (Chief Contracting Executive)

Henriette is one of Kim and Ellory's children and has been working with Kim and Ellory's Kitchen since 2007. She gained 4 years of front of the house experience during her high school years and then went off to college to pursue a higher education. From 2010-2013 she was our Kim and Ellory's Kitchen/Lenienkugel's girl at the "Join Us Out Here" Tour. She returned, in 2014, as our new CCE and deals with all the marketing, advertising, client contact, and booking events.

Kim & Ellory's Kitchen has been featured in the Chicago Tribune, Lake County Journal and Gurnee Life Magazine, has a regular column in 12 different markets for What's Happening Magazine, provides recipes for The Burbs, and Klaang Magazine websites, and has made numerous Live appearances doing cooking demos and classes at Food Industry Trade Shows, as well as private and corporate events.

We've made over 100 appearances on 95.1fm WIIL Rock, and have been called the "Unofficial In House WIIL Rock Chefs" by Tom & Emily! (we love them!)

 We've also been the Official Tour Chefs for the Leinenkugel's Beer "Join Us Out Here Tour" since 2009, as well as the Jewel Food Stores Holiday Baking Chefs in 2011.

We've been featured Chefs at the Holiday Meals on Wheels Celebrity Chefs Brunch since 2009, Spotlight Chefs at the "Night of Dessert Stars" with Ace of Cakes star Duff Goldman, and main stage Chefs at the Great American Cooking Expo, to name a few.
